TWICE LIFE SIZE PERIODONTAL QUADRANT

A unique model with two interchangeable flanges. One demonstrates the inflammatory response with changes in colour and contour. The second is soft silicone which permits demonstration of the increased probing depth associated with these changes. With the flange removed there are two walled defects visible from the buccal aspect. The lower first molar has a through/through furcation involvement and a lower incisor has a bony dehiscence with an associated gingival cleft. 2x life size.

STAGES OF BABY BOTTLE TOOTH DECAY

A set of 4 models which serve as a graphic reminder to parents of the damaging tooth decay that can occur if a baby or young child is put to bed with a bottle of juice, breastmilk, formula, or liquid other than water. Starting with a set of healthy teeth and progressing to a model with severe decay. The models can be removed from the base and are hinged. The healthy set can be used to demonstrate how to brush infants teeth. Individually handcrafted and painted in our model studio.

A 2x life-size upper model showing periodontal problems ledges, pockets, gingival enlargement on left quadrant receded but firm pink gum and cleaned interproximal areas on right quadrant. The unhealthy side has removable teeth for demonstrating mobility and over eruption plus removable shellac, (simulated plaque). Extra Shellac and Aluminium oxide, (simulated calculus), with a brush are supplied with each model for reapplying to the model after demonstration. Additional supplies available separately. JAW WITH DISEASED TEETH

An advanced lower jaw with 8 diseased teeth. The front section of bone and all the teeth are removable from the half lower jaw, one incisor is longitudinally sectioned. Nerves, blood vessels, the sublingual and submandibular glands are shown. These diseased teeth in this dental model show various stages of cavities from a small and easy-to-treat example on an incisor, through to advanced degradation of a molar, showing exposed root. Using this half lower jaw model it is simple to explain the necessity for good tooth care and demonstrate dental anatomy. 19 part. Measures approx 22 by 32 by 9 cm.

DISEASED TEETH & GUMS MODEL

This oversized Model speeds patient explanations and understanding. With no loose parts to become lost or separated, each solid sculpture depicts two premolars and two molars in 4:1 scale with examples of plaque, decay, diseased pulp, abscess, gingivitis, periodontitis and severe bone loss. Restorative examples include filling, crown, post and finished root canal. A full colour chart labelling all 3-D features accompanies each model and attaches to the base with clips included. SMOKER'S FOUL MOUTH

This handpainted twice life size model graphically displays what cigarette smoking can do to the mouth. Detailing a variety of harmful effects, including gum disease, tooth decay, lip cancer, and more, this unique model includes two removable tongues. One tongue depicts hairy tongue, and the other portrays leukoplakia and tongue cancer. Mouth is mounted on handpainted model of the lit end of a cigarette.
